Benjamin
noted the Sabres currently have Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, Alex Lyon,
Colten Ellis and Matt Villatra under contract this season. Luukkonen
and Lyon were their regular tandem last season, but both struggled
with consistency during the 2026 Stanley Cup playoffs.
