Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks has been taken off air due to a scheduling reshuffle.
The popular soap won’t be gracing the 7pm slot on E4 this evening (Wednesday, January 14), as it makes room for Live AFCON coverage of Nigeria’s semi-final match against Morocco at Casablanca’s Mohammed V Stadium.
To add to fans’ disappointment, there will be no early online release of the episode, meaning viewers will have to hold out until Monday, January 19 for their next Hollyoaks fix.
Teasers for the upcoming week reveal that Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is convinced someone is targeting her family after spotting someone lurking around Jez Blake’s (Jeremy Sheffield) shed.
Recognising his van, she confronts Tinhead (Philip Olivier) about his presence at the allotment.
Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) manages to calm Sienna down and advises her to share her concerns with Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin), reports the Mirror.

Cleo reassures Sienna that she loves her despite needing some space, but continues to act coldly towards her girlfriend.
Leela Lomax (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) extends a helping hand to Cleo at The Hutch. Noticing Cleo’s distress, Leela invites her to join her and baby Clara at a baby group.
Cleo is hesitant, but when Sienna approaches, she uses the invitation as an excuse to leave, with Leela in tow. At the baby group, Cleo becomes overwhelmed when Joseph won’t stop crying.
Meanwhile, Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) and Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) persist in leading separate lives.
Misbah, uncertain about the true identity of her fiancé, coldly confesses that she only said what she knew would bring him back, while collaborating with Superintendent Singh (Narinder Samra).

Gemma Johnson (Tisha Merry) and Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) are determined not to abandon their father. Aware of his ongoing trauma from the events in Liverpool, they urge Donny to confront Singh.
Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) attempts to support Donny, who has resorted to alcohol again. Still reeling from his traumatic experiences, Donny reacts angrily.
Dodger reminds him that he’s the only one who truly comprehends what he’s endured.
In a bid to help Donny, Gemma devises a plan and introduces Misbah and Vicky to Benny (also known as Sinbad). At Casa McQueen, the atmosphere is warm as Donny reunites with Tinhead and Sinbad, even recreating Mick’s famous pizza.
Vicky and Misbah join the men and Gemma, with Vicky expressing admiration for her dad’s culinary skills.
Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
