Doorbell cam records sonic boom heard over Norwich

A doorbell cam caught the moment a sonic boom was heard in the skies over Norfolk and Suffolk, while another video showed a man being startled by the sound.
David Shenton had been filming himself to promote an event at Norwich Arts Centre when the boom suddenly interrupted the recording.
People described a sound like an explosion and buildings shaking during the incident at about 16:30 GMT on 12 January.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) said there had not been any RAF Quick Reaction Alerts issued in the area, and RAF Typhoons had not been deployed. The United States Air Force (USAF) has been contacted for comment.
Supersonic flight over land is rare and only authorised in exceptional circumstances.
