Does Patrik Laine still fit into Canadiens’ plans? | HI/O Bonus

Canadiens’ Patrik Laine hasn’t played since undergoing surgery to repair a core muscle injury in late October. At the time, the Canadiens said Laine would be sidelined for three to four months.
In the five games he played this season, Laine had no goals and one assist to go along with a minus-3 differential. The 27-year-old winger, who is in the final season of his contract with a US$8.7 million salary-cap hit, is skating again and could soon be ready to return to the lineup.
But do the Canadiens have a spot for him?
