When will Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma play ODI cricket for India next?

India veterans Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be away from the spotlight once again after the conclusion of the three-match ODI series against New Zealand on Sunday.
India plays a five-match T20I series against the Black Caps next, before beginning its T20 World Cup campaign from February 7.
Rohit and Kohli retired from the shortest format in 2024 and will next play cricket during the Indian Premier League. Kohli will hope to defend the title with Royal Challengers Bengaluru while Rohit will try for a sixth title for Mumbai Indians.
When will Rohit and Virat play for India next?
India’s next ODI assignment is against Afghanistan, which is expected to visit India for a three-match series in June, according to the Future Tours Program for 2023-27. However, a schedule has not been confirmed.
After this, India travels to England for another three-match ODI series, along with a five-match T20 series. India also hosts West Indies for white-ball series later in the year.
Despite their limited game time, India’s team management remains firm that the duo is vital in the team’s roadmap for the ODI World Cup in 2027.
