Below zero wind chills ro accompany Tuesday morning commute

Get ready for a blast of arctic air, which will arrive overnight and lead to below zero wind chills for the morning commute to work and school early Tuesday.
It’s the first of two shots of bitter cold in the forecast, with an even stronger and longer lasting shot expected by the weekend.
The first blast will peak later tonight and last through Wednesday morning. The coldest wind chills will be late tonight through Tuesday morning, with single digit below zero wind chills expected. Parts of the Poconos may see wind chills as cold as 15 below zero.
Highs will struggle to make it to even 20 degrees on Tuesday, and even with some sunshine, it will remain bitterly cold with wind chills still only in the single digits above zero Tuesday afternoon.
Westerly winds around 15mph may gust to 25-30mph, and be responsible for the dangerously cold wind chills.
Tuesday night will be even colder, with lows around 0° to 7° across the area. Thankfully, the wind will diminish, but enough of a breeze lingers for near or slightly below zero wind chills once again.
While the cold eases a bit later this week, only Thursday will see highs above freezing and into the upper 30s. By the weekend, the next blast of cold arrives, with highs even colder Saturday and Sunday, and single digit lows returning too.
Be sure to limit outdoor exposure, dress in layers, and protect your pets from the bitter cold.
