The University of South Florida’s Tampa, Florida campus – referred to as the Fletcher District – issued an emergency alert on Tuesday about armed individuals near the Urban Place Apartment.

The alert asked the campus community to avoid the area as law enforcement responded. Locals reported a massive presence of law enforcement personnel at the scene.
It is unclear is shots have been fired or if anyone has been injured.
