FC Schalke 04 sign Kevin Müller on loan – Fußball

“With Kevin, we’re adding an experienced goalkeeper who has delivered strong performances across many games in his career,” said Youri Mulder, director of professional football. “With his work ethic and leadership qualities, he’ll fit very well into our group of goalkeepers and will help the entire team over the coming months.”
“I’m absolutely delighted to be part of this club and this team from now on. My talks with the club made it clear that I can play a valuable role here in the second half of the season. I’m really eager to get out on the training pitch with the team for the first time today,” said Kevin Müller.
Born in Rostock, Müller joined Hansa Rostock’s youth academy in 1998 after starting out at TuSpo Bad Münder. He went on to make 66 senior appearances for Rostock. Following spells with VfB Stuttgart II and Energie Cottbus, he moved to Heidenheim in 2015, where he featured in a total of 330 competitive matches, including 33 Bundesliga appearances.
