Two music legends are set to play in Cornwall together as iconic legend Neil Young adds the date to his UK tour.
Glastonbury headliners in 2025 Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts added Eden to their UK and European leg of the Love Earth World Tour and they will be supported by another legend, Elvis Costello.
Young, the iconic multi-award winning singer-songwriter, announced the Cornwall show for June 17 at the Eden Project.
The gig will kick off the summer run, which includes headlining concerts and festival appearances across France, England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland before wrapping in Codroipo, Italy, on July 16.
Young, known for deeply personal lyrics and his signature high tenor singing voice, has received multiple Grammy and Juno Awards.
He was inducted in the Rock and Roll of Fame twice in 1995 as a solo artist and in 1997 as a member of Buffalo Springfield. In 2023, Rolling Stone ranked Young number 30 on its list of the “250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”.
Elvis Costello is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, author and television host.
According to Rolling Stone, Costello “reinvigorated the literate, lyrical traditions of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison with the raw energy and sass that were principal ethics of punk”, noting the “construction of his songs, which set densely layered wordplay in an ever-expanding repertoire of styles”.
He has won two Grammy Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards, four Edison Awards, an MTV Video Music Award, a BAFTA award, an ASCAP Founders award, and a Gemini award. In 2003, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2016, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Tickets for the gig at Eden on June 17 are available from Thursday, January 22, at 10am via an exclusive, 48-hour presale for Neil Young Archives members.
Presale tickets for the Eden Project’s Inside Track Pass-holders go on sale Saturday, January 24, at 9:00am . General on-sale begins Wednesday, January 28, at 10am GMT.
