“It’s just like ole times, Jenelle! We’re swampmates– I mean SOULMATES!”
Over the weekend, The Ashley revealed that fired Teen Mom 2 dad David Eason flew to Las Vegas from North Carolina to see his daughter, Ensley, for the first time in two years. While the purpose of David’s visit was initially to see Ensley while she was hospitalized with a respiratory infection, The Ashley can reveal that David has extended his stay in Sin City— and is spending plenty of quality time with Ensley— and his ex-wife Jenelle Evans!
After Ensley was released from the hospital, the former swampy soulmates treated her (and Jenelle’s son Kaiser) to lunch at The Cheesecake Factory, where the foursome ate together, and Jenelle and David each slugged down a drink or two.
“You know I am never one to turn down a free meal!”
(Fans who have been following the trainwrecky twosome for the last few years know, Jenelle and David are officially divorced, and Jenelle currently has a restraining order against David. However, because Ensley was having a “medical emergency,” their temporary custody arrangement likely allowed David to visit Ensley and be near Jenelle due to the special circumstances.)
Anyway, Jenelle and David’s reunion wasn’t just hospital visits and cocktails a la Cheesecake Factory.
In video posted by Ensley herself to her TikTok account, David can be seen driving Jenelle’s car as he raps about being on EBT and how critters chomp on his, um, giggleberries because he’s a “winner.” Jenelle is heard laughing along to David’s ingenious lyrics.
“Oh for tha love of all that is holy, Juh-nelle!”
Ensley’s caption for the video reads, “Listening to my dad song.”
At one point in the video— which has since been deleted— David is seen reaching for (or near) Jenelle’s hand as he drives, and Jenelle does not pull her hand away.
“Well Juh-nelle, I seen ya wif David!”
As The Ashley previously told you, Jenelle and David are set to battle it out for permanent custody of Ensley as well as child support in March. They saw each other earlier this month in court, where the exes (?) mutually agreed to drop the contempt motions they had filed on each other.
Currently, Jenelle and David are both single.
“Jenelle, gimme another chance! We is meant to be…and stuff.”
David was dumped by his girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole in September, and Jenelle has frequently bragged online that she has been single since she ended her relationship with her manager-turned-boyfriend “August Keen” in early 2025.
It is unknown how long David plans to stay in Las Vegas; however, he is required to be back in North Carolina on Monday, January 26, when a jury trial has been scheduled for his felony child abuse and assault case that stems from when he allegedly strangled Jenelle’s eldest son Jace in 2023.
“Dern all these dern court dates! I’m about to fill that courtroom with uppercuts!”
