Harry Styles fans knew they were going to get a new music video on Friday (Jan. 23) for “Aperture,” the singer’s latest single, but what they didn’t realize beforehand was that they were going to get the tracklist to his upcoming album, too.
While waiting for the visual to premiere at noon ET, fans with the video’s countdown pulled up on YouTube noticed that the filler image kept changing. One by one, the titles of all 12 songs on Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally popped up, styled in the form of a circular spiral.
With minutes left to go before the “Aperture” music video went live, the final track name — “Carla’s Song” — appeared, completing the design.
According to the graphic, “Aperture” won’t just serve as the lead single off of Styles’ fourth solo LP — it will also be the opening number on the tracklist. Other intriguing titles include “American Girls,” “Season 2 Weight Loss,” “Pop” and “Dance No More.”
Though fans got to hear the house-inspired, dance-inducing “Aperture” on Thursday (Jan. 22) and watch its music video the next day, they’ll have to wait until March 6 to hear Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally in full. The One Direction alum’s next project will come more than three years after his last full-length, Harry’s House, dropped in 2022 and spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
“It just became really obvious that it was music that was meant to be played loud,” Styles said of making Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally in a recent interview with John Mayer. “That is when it feels its best … I hope that people will kind of road test it in a couple different ways and see how their album experience kind of shifts.”
