GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – The University of Florida announced the launch of a national search for the next Dean of the university’s College of the Arts (COTA) on Friday.
Joe Glover, Interim Provost and Executive Vice-President, announced the search in a memo.
Hub Brown, the Dean of the College of Journalism and Communications, will head the search committee. The search firm Isaacson Miller will also assist in the search.

Jennifer Setlow currently serves as the college’s interim dean. She took the position after Onye P. Ozuzu stepped down from the position in 2024.
Joining Dean Brown on the committee will be representatives from multiple schools within COTA.
