At 28 years old, Hokit seems to have all the makings of a future star in the UFC’s Heavyweight division. He is 7-0, all by finish, and has an electric personality that connects with fans. Hokit is a former football player who spent time with the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals from 2020 to 2022. Having only been competing in MMA for a little over two years, it is impressive what Hokit has already achieved.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Hokit is a -258 favorite with Freeman being a +210 underdog in this contest. In this fight, both fighters are 6’1″, but Freeman has the larger standing reach (77.5″ vs. 73″). That means Hokit will need to remain aggressive, but that shouldn’t be an issue for him, since five of his last six wins have come in the first round. Getting Hokit at +120 to win this fight by knockout or submission is the best play, considering he is always looking for a finish and has a versatile skill set.
