How much snow did we get so far in Bucks County?

How deep was the snow Sunday morning in Lower Bucks County?
As of 10 a.m. Sunday Jan. 26, 2026, it appeared that between 4-5 inches of light snow had accumulated in Bensalem, Bucks County.
Snow fell at a rate of an inch or more across Bucks County beginning early in the morning on Jan. 25 and by lunchtime, it had accumulated to 8 inches in some parts of the region with another 1 to 3 inches expected.
The National Weather Service’s final forecast before dawn on Sunday called for 8 to 12 inches of snow, with Upper Bucks getting the most precipitation.
Before 1 p.m. on Sunday, trained spotters had measured more than 7 inches of snow in Central Bucks.
A reader in far Upper Bucks, meanwhile, had measured accumulation of more than 10 inches.
As of 1 p.m. National Weather Service in Mount Holly reported trained spotters were seeing snow totals in Bucks County that ranged from 6 to 8 inches, according to meteorologist Amanda Lee. Those totals included:
- 6.6 inches reported in Northampton Township
- 7.3 inches in Furlong
- 7.5 inches in Warminster Township
- 8 inches in Hilltown Township
- 8 inches in Bensalem Township.
- 8 inches in Telford
- 7 inches in Doylestown
- 8.8 inches in Langhorne
- 9.2 inches in Bedminster at 3:22 p.m.
- 7.1 inches in Levittown
- 7 inches in Jamison
Snow began turning to a mix of snow and sleet in parts of Bucks around 1 p.m. Sleet is wetter and heavier than snow. The snow earlier Sunday was described as light, powdery and dry, Lee said.
The snow and sleet is anticipated to continue adding another one to three inches of snow and sleet across the county, and the potential for 1/10th to 2/10ths of an inch of ice on top, before it should mostly move out of Bucks County around midnight, Lee said.
Sunday could break the record for snowiest Jan. 25 in the region’s history. The record is 8.5 inches in Philadelphia, which fell on this day in 2000, and 10.4 inches in Allentown in 1988.
