Sydney Sweeney could face trespassing and vandalism charges after hanging bras on the Hollywood Sign as part of a promotional campaign for her lingerie line, TMZ reports.
The actress was part of a production crew that climbed up to the iconic landmark last week and strung bras from it. The whole stunt was filmed and TMZ naturally obtained the video.
While Sweeney did secure a permit from FilmLA to shoot on location, the issue apparently stems from a lack of approval from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which owns the Hollywood Sign and its intellectual property.
In a letter sent on January 23rd, the Chamber informed Persuasion Pictures that it never granted approval or a license for the shoot.
Without the proper permitting, Sweeney and others involved could be liable for possible criminal charges, including trespassing and vandalism, as the Hollywood Sign is not open to the public.
