Browns QB Shedeur Sanders named to the Pro Bowl

QB Shedeur Sanders has officially been named to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games.
Sanders joins DE Myles Garrett and CB Denzel Ward as representatives for the Browns. This marks the first Pro Bowl selection for Sanders following his rookie season. He was also the only Browns rookie to earn a Pro Bowl selection.
“Thank you God. I’m beyond excited and extremely grateful for all the love and support from the coaches, players, and fans,” Sanders said in a statement. “This wouldn’t be possible without the support behind me. Still plenty of work to do.”
Sanders is also the first Browns QB to be named to the Pro Bowl since Derek Anderson in 2007. Sanders joins Otto Graham (1950-54), Milt Plum (1960-61), Frank Ryan (1964-66), Bill Nelsen (1969), Brian Sipe (1980), Bernie Kosar (1987) and Anderson as the only Browns QB to make the Pro Bowl. Sanders is the seventh Browns rookie to be named to the Pro Bowl and first since Denzel Ward in 2018.
Sanders started the final seven games for the Browns, earning his first start in Week 12 against the Raiders. He became the first Browns rookie quarterback to win his debut start since Eric Zeier in 1995. Sanders completed 23 of 42 passes for 364 yards with three touchdowns and one rushing score in Week 14 against the Titans, the most passing yards by a rookie in a game in 2025. Sanders finished his rookie season completing 120 of 212 passing attempts for 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns. He threw 10 interceptions and was sacked 23 times.
For the first time, the 2026 Pro Bowl Games will move to Super Bowl LX Week in the San Francisco Bay Area. The event brings the league’s top players together for an AFC vs. NFC flag football showdown, coached by Pro Football Hall of Famers Jerry Rice (NFC) and Steve Young (AFC). The televised event will air live from San Francisco’s Moscone Center South Building on Tuesday, Feb. 3, which will be transformed into a dynamic flag football arena. Coverage of the Pro Bowl Games will begin on ESPN starting at 6:30 p.m. with the flag game at 8 p.m. The game will air on ESPN, Disney XD and ESPN Deportes.
