Where are Lawrence Jones, Janice Dean on Fox? What to know

A couple of faces have been missing from Fox and people are turning to Google to ask where they are.
Lawrence Jones, a regular co-host on “Fox and Friends” in the morning, and Janice Dean, Fox’s senior meteorologist who regularly appears during the 5 a.m. Fox broadcast, have disappeared. Dean hasn’t been on air for months.
Here’s what we know.
Where is Lawrence Jones from ‘Fox and Friends’?
Jones posted on X and Facebook on Jan. 20 he was recovering from eye surgery and hopes to return to work soon.
“Hey fam! I want to assure y’all that I’m doing well. I recently underwent eye surgery and will be returning to work soon. I’ll share the details of my experience with you all in the future. God is truly remarkable. Fox has been incredibly supportive throughout this process, ensuring that I receive the best possible care. See y’all soon.”
Who is Lawrence Jones?
Jones has been one of the co-hosts of Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends” since 2023.
He previously served as host of “Lawrence Jones Cross Country” after joining Fox News Media in 2018.

“Jones has become known for his signature storytelling and ‘man-on-the-street’ segments focusing on the impact of various issues on local communities,” his biography on Fox said.
The program airs weekdays from 6 to 9 a.m. ET and 6-10 a.m. weekends.
Where is Janice Dean, Fox meteorologist?
Dean, who has shared her struggles with multiple sclerorsis, posted on X in November she was “taking a break from work (and social media) for a bit. I’m ok, but I’ve had some health issues that require rest and time to heal.
“My bosses at Fox have been kind and understanding, and I feel blessed to be able to take a break to be with my family. The trip to Rome with Sean was a good place to start healing spiritually, and now I have to get back to feeling healthy and strong.
“I’ve always been up front and honest about my life, and I felt I owed you an explanation of my absence. But, I will be back. Grateful to you all for the kind words.”
Dean updates health status, shares message with followers
“I’m doing really, really well but I really had to take a break. Within the last six months, my body was telling me if you don’t take a break, something bad might happen.
“I love my job on ‘Fox and Friends’ but 2:30 in the morning, getting up, is really tough, especially for me because I have an illness that requires rest and if I don’t get rest I could possibly get sick.”
Dean said she is “doing all the good things,” including getting rest. Walking every day. Sleeping. Eating well. Seeing the kids wake up in the morning. Driving them to school. Making them breakfast. Connecting with friends.
Dean said she plans to come back but is taking time in the new year to continue her wellness journey and encouraged others to do the same thing.
“Take a break if you can. Take care of yourself. Access what’s most important to you. Focus on today. Hug your kids. I’m going to make it (2026) the best year I’ve ever had.”
Who is Janice Dean?
Janice Dean joined Fox News Channel in January 2004 and currently serves as senior meteorologist for the network, according to her biography on Fox.
She is also the morning meteorologist for “Fox and Friends” and contributes to Fox Weather.
