The long-awaited fourth season of Apple TV‘s mega hit Ted Lasso will make its global debut in summer 2026. Along with the announcement, the streamer released four first-look images from the new season of the Emmy-winning comedy starring and executive produced by Jason Sudeikis.
The photos, which you can see above and below, provide a first glimpse at Ted (Sudeikis) as he returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team.
In two of the images, Ted is joined by a new assistant coach alongside returning Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt). She is played by new cast member Tanya Reynolds.
Another photo introduces Grant Feely as Ted’s son Henry after the role was recast ahead of Season 4. Ted and Henry are seen at Mae Green’s (Annette Badland) Crown & Anchor pub in London.
The last photo has Ted and Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) in front of the Richmond jet. It could be her flying to Kansas to recruit him for the new coaching gig. Ted is seen handing Rebecca a box of his famous homemade biscuits.
As Deadline revealed last year, Season 4 of Ted Lasso is expected to pick up in Kansas, where Ted returned at the end of Season 3, before he heads back to London, accompanied by Henry (at least for some of the time). Filming began in July in Kansas City, Sudeikis’ hometown.
Currently in production in London, Season 4 reunites original cast members Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Hunt and Jeremy Swift who are all reprising their beloved original characters alongside new Season 4 additions including Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Feely.

Ted Lasso Season 4 added Jack Burditt as executive producer under an overall deal with Apple TV. Sudeikis stars and executive produces alongside Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Brett Goldstein serves as writer and executive producer alongside Leanne Bowen. Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh serve as writers and producers for Season 4, and Sasha Garron co-produces. Julia Lindon is a writer, and Dylan Marron a story editor. Bill Lawrence executive produces via his Doozer Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television, a division of NBCUniversal Content. Doozer’s Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer executive produce. The series was developed by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly and Hunt, and is based on the preexisting format and characters from NBC Sports.
