Mega Dragonite ex’s Ryuno Glide attack does a massive 330 damage for and discards two of its Energy in the process. Discarding the Energy may seem rough, but Eelektrik’s Dynamotor Ability can recycle it, attaching a Basic Energy card from your discard pile to one of your Benched Pokémon.

How can you attach Energy from Eelektrik’s Dynamotor Ability to Mega Dragonite ex if it’s in your Active Spot? By moving it to the Bench with its Sky Transport Ability, of course. Try to promote a Pokémon without a Retreat Cost, like Tynamo, so your Mega Dragonite ex can immediately jump back into the fray after getting help from a Dynamotor or two. Alternatively, you can attach Air Balloon to a Pokémon with a Retreat Cost of 2 or less (like Eelektrik!) to turn it into a free retreater.
To make full use of Eelektrik’s Dynamotor Ability, your deck comes packed with cards that help discard Energy from your hand, like Professor’s Research, Ultra Ball, and Earthen Vessel. The last one can also grab the Energy you need from your deck to glide to victory.
While Mega Dragonite ex is certainly a fun deck to ascend through the Battle Pass, you won’t be-leaf the explosive plays you can make with the Mega Meganium ex deck.
Mega Meganium ex’s Giant Bouquet attack does 70 damage, plus 50 more for each Energy attached to it. If you also have Meganium from the Mega Evolution expansion in play, its Wild Growth Ability doubles that Energy. That means you can use Mega Meganium ex’s Giant Bouquet with only two Energy cards attached, doing 270 damage in the process—and each additional Basic Energy you attach contributes 100 more damage.

While getting two Stage 2 Pokémon in play may seem daunting, Forest of Vitality expedites the evolutionary journey by allowing your Pokémon to evolve immediately, as long as it isn’t your first turn.
Forretress ex is another Pokémon that can support Mega Meganium ex. It can help accelerate Basic Energy onto your Pokémon with its Exploding Energy Ability, attaching 5 Basic Energy from your deck in any way you like. While this effect is powerful, it comes at a steep cost—Forretress ex will be Knocked Out while resolving this effect, giving up two Prize cards in the process. Thankfully, your deck has a few ways to turn that to your advantage:

Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex’s Seasoned Skill Ability reduces its Blood Moon’s attack cost by for each Prize card your opponent has taken, letting it potentially attack for free if your opponent has taken 5 Prize cards.

Iono draws each player a new hand equal to their remaining Prize cards.

Counter Catcher provides an Item-based “gust” effect, letting you switch in one of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon if you have more Prize cards remaining.
Finally, in the home stretch, you’ll unlock a plethora of booster packs, Trainer Points, Trade Credits, cosmetics, and Collector Crates.
