Aryna Sabalenka will step onto the court for her fourth straight Australian Open final appearance on Saturday to try win her fifth Grand Slam title.

The Belarusian tennis star won back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024. She stumbled against Madison Keys last year and now faces Elena Rybakina with redemption on her mind.

Her considerably older partner, Georgios Frangulis, will be in the stands supporting her. The pair have been dating since 2024 and he is a multimillionaire thanks to his company, Oakberry acai.

Frangulis is 37 years old, making him a full decade Sabalenka’s senior, who is 27. The age difference appears to cause no issues with the tennis star regularly thanking Frangulis during her victory speeches.

Following her Brisbane International victory in 2025, Sabalenka described his backing as “priceless” as she pursues more trophies. The pair went public with their romance in May 2024 after being photographed together at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.

Tennis fans spotted the duo in the Haas garage which the couple gained entry through Oakberry’s Formula 1 team sponsorship deal. This partnership surprised many, as it emerged just weeks following the tragic passing of Sabalenka’s former boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov.

The former professional ice hockey player tragically passed away after falling from a hotel balcony in March 2024. Laying bare her emotions at the time, Sabalenka said: “While we were no longer together, my heart is broken.”

Sabalenka signed a brand deal with Frangulis’ firm before their romance became public knowledge, prior to securing her second Australian Open title in January 2024.

The CEO heaped praise on his future partner in a statement regarding the agreement as he said: “Aryna Sabalenka is a great example of the future of tennis and we are working closely with her to create some really exciting things over the years.”

Frangulis will appreciate his partner’s physical benefits from tennis as she is often spotted flaunting her figure on social media. In October 2026, Sabalenka was spotted soaking up the sun in Dubai with friend and tennis rival Paula Badosa.

The pair posted a few snaps on Instagram with the Belarusian posing in a skimpy bikini which would likely impress her beau. Badosa was announcing her “sexy and single” phase after splitting from Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas, with Sabalenka supporting her friend from the sidelines.

Frangulis established Oakberry in 2016 and now boasts outlets across more than 35 nations specialising in acai smoothies and bowls. It’s believed the businessman commands a fortune of between £60 million and £ 80m courtesy of his acai empire.

The entrepreneur could have pursued an entirely different path before Oakberry took off as he studied law at Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado.

These days, he splits his time between running his enterprise and backing Sabalenka, who acknowledges he’s been instrumental to her career progression.

She told People: “There was a really tough period where I was really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff.

“But I make sure I kind of forget about tennis and focus on the good things and enjoy my life. Even when things are going wrong in my career. So yeah, he was my biggest support and yeah, really happy to have him by my side.”
