Norwich-Amsterdam flights grounded in icy weather

Flights between Norwich Airport and Amsterdam have been cancelled due to extreme weather conditions in the Netherlands.

KLM shelved more than 700 flights on Wednesday because of persistent snowfall and strong winds at Schiphol Airport, with two departures and three inbound flights affected at Norwich.

The airline had already cancelled hundreds of flights since Friday, with the poor winter conditions expected to continue in the coming days.

“We are actively working around the clock to get you to your destination as soon as possible,” KLM said on its website.
