GAME HEADLINES
MOCS LOOK TO FORGET THURSDAY’S PERFORMANCE
• Chattanooga (9-13, 3-6 SoCon) lost its third-straight game after suffering an 81-55 rout to Wofford on its home floor Thursday night inside McKenzie Arena… the 26-point defeat marked the worst home loss within SoCon play since an 80-54 (-26) loss to Wofford on February 28, 2019.

FURMAN SCOUT
• Furman (15-7, 6-3 SoCon) enters Sunday’s game winners of its last two after posting an 89-66 road win at UNCG last Friday and a 78-73 home win over Samford on Thursday… the two wins followed back-to-back narrow losses which included a 74-70 home loss to rival Wofford (Jan. 17) and a 77-75 OT defeat at The Citadel (Jan. 21).
Six of Furman’s nine SoCon games so far this season have been single digit affairs… two have reached overtime (0-2)… Paladins are an even 3-3 in the six single-digit league games… 2-2 at home.

MID-POINT IN SOCON SLATE
• Chattanooga finished the first-half of SoCon play with a 3-6 roller coaster record… lost the first three to start 0-3 for just the fifth time in program history… then won the next three to level at 3-3… now dropped three-straight to sit at 3-6… slowest nine-game start since 2022-23 (3-6).

REBOUNDING DISADVANTAGE
• Chattanooga has been out-rebounded in all 13 of its losses this season… only three wins (vs. DI) when losing the rebound battle (@AAMU, SAM, @WCU)… UTC ranks 314th (out of 365) in DI in margin (-3.2)… 295th in RPG (33.32)… 364th in offensive rebounding % (20.1%).

MAGIC NUMBER 70
• Chattanooga dropped to 0-8 this season when failing to score 70 points following Thursday’s 81-55 defeat to Wofford… UTC has scored less than 70 points 33 times in 128 games under Dan Earl… 4-29 in such games.
