Tyla’s second album is incoming, and she told Variety in 2025, “I had more time to work on this album than I did the first, so I have a lot of songs. It feels really current — this time, I’m living what I’m singing, and it feels way more personal. Way more like me.”
More recently she said, “It’s going to be very fun. It’s going to be speaking about a lot of things that I’ve felt in the past year. Me, my life, and just about me being a 23-year-old girl as an African Popstar.”
