FIRST ALERT: Icy conditions prompt road closures

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Charleston and Berkeley Counties are beginning to report road closures caused by icy conditions as of Saturday night.
Snow and sleet are combining with very low temperatures to create the potential for black ice on roadways.
The following roads are closed, according to county leaders:
Charleston County
- Highway 17 at 526 (Eastbound and Westbound ramps)
- Savannah Highway at Wesley Drive
North Charleston
- Ashley Phosphate Road at I-26
Dorchester County
- Reports of severe ice across Trolley Road and Bacons Bridge Road
Berkeley County
- Highway 52 in Moncks Corner (at Berkeley County 911 Communications Center)
- Old Highway 52 at Nicholas Road in Moncks Corner
- State Road at Domingo Drive in Summerville
- Highway 52 at Robin Wood Boulevard in Moncks Corner
- Myers Road at Reagan Drive in Summerville
- Cypress Campground Road at Fivel Lane in Ridgeville
- Bushy Park Road at Spotted Owl Lane in Moncks Corner
- Planet Road at St. James Avenue in Summerville
- State Road at Callen Boulevard in Summerville
- Crowfield Boulevard in Goose Creek
- Pimlico Boulevard at British Drive in Moncks Corner
- Old Gilliard Road at Fish Road in Ridgeville
- St. James Avenue at Myers Road in Summerville
- Liberty Hall Road in Goose Creek
- Volvo Car Drive at Autonomous Drive in Ridgeville
- Truckers Ridge Lane at Old Highway 52 in Moncks Corner
- Cypress Gardens Road between Kelly Lane and Old Depot Road in Moncks Corner
