MK Dons have signed goalkeeper Charlie Setford on loan from Dutch giants Ajax for the rest of the season.
The 21-year old has yet to make his first-team debut for Ajax but is under contract to them until the summer of 2027.
The deal with MK Dons includes an option to buy should he impress during his time with the promotion-chasing League Two club.
“At this stage of his career, it is important for Charlie to get plenty of playing time as a first-choice goalkeeper, and a loan move to MK Dons provides that opportunity,” said Ajax director of football Marijn Beuker.
Setford, whose father is English, has played international football at youth level for both countries.
