“The Lincoln Lawyer” is finally back after the shocking cliffhanger at the end of the Netflix show’s third season.
Season 4 of “The Lincoln Lawyer” starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller is based on the sixth book in “The Lincoln Lawyer” series, “The Law of Innocence.”
Mickey is facing his toughest case yet after he was detained at the end of Season 3 when police found Sam Scales’ body in the trunk of his car.
Now, Mickey and his team will work tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of his former client and clear his name. According to the season’s synopsis, while Mickey’s team unravels Sam’s final scam, it forces “them to go head-to-head with the DA’s office, the FBI, and ghosts from Mickey’s own past.”

During a panel for Deadline x A+E Studios x Netflix presents “The Lincoln Lawyer,” Garcia-Rulfo described Season 4 as “darker and heavier,” adding that there are also many “emotional” moments for Mickey.
“This season he’s really struggling,” the star said.
