Kid Rock’s song about loving underage girls resurfaces ahead of TPUSA Super Bowl halftime show

Kid Rock will headline Turning Point USA’s Super Bowl LX halftime show, and when he was announced for the gig recently he made sure to take a dig at Bad Bunny.
“He’s said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish,” Kid Rock said in a social media post. “We plan to play great songs for folks who love America.”
JD Vance shared a TPUSA post on X about the show and wrote, “Fantastic lineup for the TPUSA halftime show, including the great Bob Ritchie AKA KID ROCK.”
The lineup for the show — Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett — has been widely trolled outside of the MAGA world, but there’s a particular question being thrown about that is becoming prevalent on social media.
And it comes with wild timing considering the recent release of the Epstein files.
The question?
Will Kid Rock be singing his song “Cool, Daddy Cool”? The song is featured on the 2001 soundtrack for the movie Osmosis Jones and … well, folks … the lyrics are something else as a whole, but the real issue comes in Verse 3.
“Young ladies, young ladies, I like ‘em underage,” Rock sings on the track. “See some say that’s statutory.”
His sidekick at the time, the late Joe-C then chimes in, “But I say it’s mandatory.”
Parker Molloy reshared Vance’s post and shared the lyrics to X and wrote, “Maye he’ll play this one!”
Safe bet he won’t, but folks were quick to chime in.
“I have to say this, besides the pedophile segment these lyrics are just straight up (expletive) lmao,” one person replied.
“Wow @TPUSA sure know how to put together a faith and family friendly lineup,” another wrote.
You can listen to the song in the video below:
Outside of Molloy’s comments plenty of folks shared the lyrics to the song while taking shots at the timing and fit.
“Very on brand decision to go with Kid Rock,” Tom Levy wrote on X. “Hoping he plays ‘Cool Daddy, Cool.’”
“Do you think Kid Rock is going to perform his classic song ‘Cool, Daddy Cool’?” Damin Toell replied to Vance. “Maybe they can get Ted Nugent to come out and do a molestation medley.”
“Faith! Family! Freedom!” Tyler Jones said.
Neither Kid Rock, Vance nor Turning Point USA have addressed the controversial song, but if there is a Vegas line about whether or not he will sing it anywhere … again, it’s a safe bet that it won’t make the cut.
