Love Island star reveals what really goes on before show recouplings as US bombshells shake up villa pairings
A FORMER Love Island contestant has spilled what happens in the villa before everyone gathers for a recoupling.
The latest recoupling on the show took place last night as the new US bombshells had their pick, choosing who they wanted to steal from the villa’s couples to have for themselves.

Harry Cooksley has spilled some secrets about what happens before Love Island recouplings
He said they were the “longest days” for him while on the show
Then after they were done causing havoc, the rest of the villa’s lads got to choose from who was left.
As the dust from the shocking turn of events continues to settle, season 12’s Harry Cooksley took to TikTok to talk about what the run up to the dreaded recoupling is actually like for those on the show.
Sitting down in an office chair, he jumped into the conversation, beginning by explaining how for him the recoupling was the “worst” part.
“Right what’s happened there [last night] was the recoupling, which for me being in there… these were the worst days.

“These were the longest days. The recouplings were so boring, they took ages.
“Everyone said the same things like someone will go first and everyone will just repeat it. Some people won’t be able to get their words out.
“They were long days, and you see about three seconds of people’s speeches but you have to talk for like two minutes for a lot of them so they [the producers] get the right bits.”
As for the build up, Harry spilled how everything is decided before the cameras even begin to roll.
“Right so the build up to it, you’ll get head space. So you’ll speak to the producers and they’ll be like ‘who are you thinking, what are you thinking.’
“So they’ll know where everyone’s head is and that’s how they decide the order of who goes first and who goes second.

“So they’d obviously spoken to Sher and asked her ‘who are you feeling? Are you into Jack, are you into Scott, who are you thinking?’ and she would have said like ‘I’m more into Scott’.
“So they [the producers] would have thought ‘oh let’s put all of the American’s first because let’s be honest, Sher’s just put a cat amongst the pigeons!”
In addition to Sher stealing Scott, Yamen chose Whitney, Kyra opted to couple with Curtis, Imani linked up with Konnor and, to few viewer’s surprise, Zac and Millie are now an item.
Carrington and Helena also partnered up after spending a night together in the hideaway, much to Belle’s frustration as her and Carrington had shared a few chats.
During his time on the last season of Love Island, Harry coupled up with the stunning Shakira Khan.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing, with a love triangle between the duo and All Star Helena causing significant drama.
But in the end Harry chose to pursue Shakira, who he finished the show with in second place.
The couple are still going strong today.
