Peterborough United 6-1 Wigan Athletic

In-form Kyrell Lisbie hit his first EFL hat-trick as Peterborough got back to winning ways in League One with a 6-1 drubbing of relegation-battling Wigan.
The 22-year-old had little to do to open the scoring in the seventh minute as he easily tapped home from Tom Lees’ drilled cross from the right.
Lisbie netted a sixth goal in seven games just two minutes later when Lees knocked a quickly-taken Cian Hayes’ free-kick back across goal for the youngster to head home.
Posh thought it was three when Harry Leonard had the ball in the net before it was ruled out for offside.
Huddersfield loanee Joe Taylor pulled one back in the 26th minute as he found the bottom corner against his former club.
However, Luke Williams’ side went into the break 3-1 up as Jimmy-Jay Morgan headed home the rebound after his initial effort hit the bar.
After the break, Posh goalkeeper Alex Bass made a good save with his legs to keep out Callum Murray’s strike.
Harry Leonard made it four in the 67th minute when he nodded home Morgan’s cross.
Substitute Pemi Aderoju hit the fifth goal in the closing stages before Lisbie completed the job with a fine effort after James Dornelly had rattled the bar a minute earlier.
The lowly Latics have now gone seven league games without a win.
