Ewan McGregor’s oldest daughter, Clara McGregor, is ringing in her 30th birthday!
Clara, the eldest of four daughters Ewan, 54, shares with his ex-wife Eve Mavrakis, posted a collage of photos and videos from her recent celebrations on Instagram Monday, Feb. 9. “New decade unlocked !! X,” Clara, who turned 30 on Feb. 4, captioned the post, which featured clips of her dancing with family and friends at a party and photos taken with both her actor father and mother Mavrakis, 59, who works in Hollywood as a production designer.
Ewan and Mavrakis were married in 1995 and separated in 2017. The former couple, who finalized their divorce in 2020, also share daughters Esther, 24, Jamyan, 24, and Anouk, 15. (In 2022, Ewan married actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead; the couple welcomed a son named Laurie, now 4, in June 2001.)
Esther was also seen in photos Clara shared from her birthday party; the younger McGregor sister shared her own photo collage celebrating Clara on Instagram. “Birthday time for my bean. Thank you for always being there for me,” she wrote in the caption, which was posted on Feb. 4.
Mavrakis, for her part, posted a photo of her and Clara posing in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris on Feb. 4 to celebrate her oldest daughter’s birthday. “Joyeux Anniversaire ma Clara! When you were 3 or 4 you were so in awe of the Eiffel Tower you used to call it Clara tower, in your image. Big dreams. Big life!” she captioned the pic.
Clara also shared a series of photos of herself as a child and teenager to Instagram on her actual birthday. “🎂 Version 30.0 (long-term project). 🎂🥳🥳,” she wrote in a caption to that post.

Clara studied at New York University in the 2010s before trying her hand at modeling and acting. She signed with Wilhelmina Models in 2017, the same year she made her on-screen debut in the movie Groove. Clara has appeared on screen with her father in the 2018 movie Christopher Robin and 2021’s The Birthday Cake. They most recently shared the screen in the 2023 movie Bleeding Love and 2024’s Running on Empty.
The actress is next expected to appear in a movie titled The Blind Painter, releasing April 30.
Ewan, meanwhile, most recently appeared in the 2024 miniseries A Gentleman in Moscow and lent his voice to the animated movie The Land of Sometimes, in theaters March 20. He will costar with Anne Hathaway in the upcoming movie Flowervale Street, in theaters Aug. 14.
