BYU announces removal of Parker Kingston from football team after rape allegations

PROVO, Utah (KUTV) — BYU wide receiver Parker Kingston is no longer a student after being arrested and charged in connection with rape allegations.
Kingston, 21, was charged with first-degree felony rape earlier this week. The charges followed after a year-long investigation that started in February 2025.
As of Friday, the university confirmed that Kingston had been removed from the football team.

BYU issued the following statement:
“University administration and athletic administration, including BYU Head Coach Kalani Sitake, were only made aware of the investigation and allegations after Kingston’s arrest this past Wednesday, Feb. 11.”
