The title drought is finally over for Karolina Muchova.
For the first time since 2019, the Czech is a champion on the WTA Tour Driven by Mercedes-Benz, defeating Victoria Mboko 6-4, 7-5 in 1 hour and 34 minutes on Saturday in Doha to win the Qatar TotalEnergies Open.
The victory gives Muchova the second title of her career and her first at the WTA 1000 level.
