Lemonheads frontman Evan Dando has been hospitalized for mental health treatment after allegedly sending unsolicited videos of himself pleasuring himself to a fan over social media.
A representative told Rolling Stone that, “Evan Dando has long struggled with mental health issues dating back to his childhood. He’s been admitted to a local hospital where he’s receiving comprehensive help from experienced doctors and mental health professionals.”
Earlier this week, a fan identified as “Dawn” alleged on journalist Tony Ortega’s Substack that Evan Dando twice sent her explicit videos after she messaged him to congratulate him on the release of the Lemonheads’ new album, Love Chant.

Dando, 58, lives in Brasil with his wife, Antonia Teixeira. He has long been open about his history of addiction and mental health struggles.
