Back over in the women’s curling, Team GB have suffered a late defeat against Switzerland.
In a back-and-forth contest, Rebecca Morrison, Jennifer Dodds, Sophie Sinclair and Sophie Jackson were tied 6-6 after eight ends.
But a collapse in the ninth end saw the Swiss take four stones at once, delivering a crushing blow and forcing the game to be called early with the lead too big.
It’s a setback for Team GB after a strong victory against Denmark this morning, ad leaves them with a lot of work to do if they are to progress to the semi-finals.
They now sit tied in seventh place, with two wins from six matches in total.
