Almost three years since the finale of The Last Thing He Told Me aired, the show’s second season is finally premiering on Apple TV+! Season 2 is based on the book sequel by author (and TV series co-developer) Laura Dave, The First Time I Saw Him, which just released in January. The story picks up five years after Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) disappeared. Hannah (Jennifer Garner) and Bailey (Angourie Rice) have settled into their new lives in Southern California. But then Owen shows up to Hannah’s latest exhibition, she knows that danger is coming for her family once again. This forces her and her stepdaughter to go on the run, with the hopes of reuniting with Owen for their long-awaited second chance at a life together.
