STRONGER FRONT SATURDAY

A front will sweep through early on Saturday. This will drop our dew points and boost up our winds. On top of that, the soil is very dry!

Wind gusts increase during the afternoon, and stay gusty until midday on Sunday.

Because of the windy and dry conditions Saturday, any fires that develop could spread rapidly. A RED FLAG WARNING is in place for the counties in pink from 10 am to 9 pm Saturday.

TIPS FOR FIRE SAFETY

  • Avoid all outdoor burning

  • Dispose of cigarettes properly

  • Don’t use tools that create sparks

  • Don’t drag trailer chains

  • Don’t park cars on grass

CHILLY WEATHER RETURNS

By Sunday morning, temperatures will fall into the low-40s. We’ll rebound into the 60s, with plenty of sun Sunday afternoon.

Monday morning will be coldest as we drop into the 30s. A freeze is not expected in San Antonio, but jackets will be needed Monday morning.

We’ll gradually warm, with temperatures back into the 80s by the end of the week. Unfortunately, no rain in the forecast through the next week.
