Every year she wears racy outfits despite the live shows airing before the watershed. The star has sparked a wave of Ofcom complaints in the past.

Speaking last year, she said: “I’m always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I’m never worried.

“I think people should have fun with fashion!”

And in 2022, she said: “Fashion is about taking risks. I encourage everyone to have a little fun and be a little daring. I’d be bored playing it safe.”

Amanda has lots of fun while filming the auditions for the new series. She said: “In a good way it feels very loose and very chaotic this year.”

Auditions in Blackpool were chaos thanks to the excitable crowds. Amanda added: “They were wild, I’m going to say feral but in the best way possible!

“Oh my God, people were running down the aisles and we were doing non-stop selfies every day.

“That kind of thing never happens in London, Everyone follows the rules and sits in their seats. But in Blackpool everyone just went absolutely nuts.”

Other judges back for the new series include Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell.

Stacey Solomon also made a guest appearance on the panel during auditions.
