“We are excited to get back into the swing of things now and this is a massive game for us against Leicester.
“We are aware of the position that we are in. We just take it one game at a time and we are looking forward to this game. It’s exciting to be back amongst our fans at home again.
“I think St Helens Stadium has been a really good place for us, especially since Christmas, so hopefully we can have another good day there and hopefully get some fans out as well.”
Holland also spoke about the positive influence January signings such as Jennifer Falk and Denise O’Sullivan have had on Liverpool’s fortunes.
“I think you can see the difference they have made, it’s clear,” she added.
“Jennifer in goal has probably gone a bit under the radar. She has been fantastic for us and the influence of her, plus her experience around the training ground [has been vital].
“She is fantastic with her feet and has made some key saves for us, so that has been really important.
“We are able to make more changes during a game and also players have contributed from the start.
“It gives us more options and makes us more of a rounded squad, so I think it has been a really good turnaround for us since Christmas.”
