Is Saturday Night Live New Tonight, February 21? Here’s the Next Host & Musical Guest

Is it just us, or has the shortest month been a whirlwind?

How to Watch

Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

Between Legendary February’s 2026 Olympics, Super Bowl LX, and NBA All-Star Weekend, our eyes have been glued to NBC and Peacock for weeks, and we’re not changing the channel anytime soon.

Along with much of NBC’s regular programming, Saturday Night Live has been on a hiatus since the Olympics began allow the athletes to take the spotlight, but it’s coming back very soon with a very buzzy first time Host, followed by the return of a beloved fourth-time Host.

When is SNL coming back after the Olympics?

The Milan Cortina Olympics’ end, while bittersweet, means that SNL will return with a brand new episode next Saturday, February 28, and it’s going to be one you won’t want to miss.

Who is the next SNL Host and Musical Guest?

Connor Storrie and Mumford & Sons.

All that Olympic ice better be ready to melt, because Heated Rivalry is coming in hot. Connor Storrie is making his SNL hosting debut on February 28, after capturing public attention in November when the Canadian hockey romance premiered.

Over the past few months, the sweet and scandalous love story between hockey rivals Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Storrie) has rocketed the two stars to fame. In addition to his SNL gig, Storrie presented at the Golden Globes, booked a part in the A24 comedy Peaked, and got to carry the Olympic torch in Italy with Williams. He’s on a roll, and we’ve got high hopes for his comedy chops, too.

Mumford & Sons, meanwhile, are back for their fourth performance on SNL. Their newest album, Prizefighter, was released on February 20.

On March 7, Ryan Gosling returns for his fourth episode as Host, just shy of two years after his “Beavis and Butthead” sketch went viral in April 2024. He’ll be accompanied by the virtual band Gorilaz, who will perform on the show for the first time. Technically, the band members are animated, but (actual human) frontman Damon Albarn puts on a great live show.

Watch this recent Gorillaz performance for an idea of what it might look like.
