Multiple replays were shown on the Paramount+ broadcast and the results were inconclusive, though if you ask the booing fans at Toyota Center and the fighters witnessing the action, Pereira may have been guilty of embellishing the contact, as it were.

UFC fighters Cody Durden and Azamat Bekoev roasted Pereira on social media, with Durden writing, “Pereira will milk anything you give him. Unreal,” and Bekoev announcing Pereira as “the winner of the best male actor award.”
