M25 lane still shut after crash damages power cables

One lane of the M25 in Essex is still shut after power cables were brought down during a crash involving a lorry.
The motorway was closed in both directions between junction 28 for Brentwood and junction 27 for the M11 in Essex after Tuesday’s collision. It partially reopened while repairs were made.
The road was then closed overnight to allow UK Power Networks to rehang cables, work which will continue on Wednesday night.
Resurfacing work has finished, but one lane has remained closed for barrier repairs, National Highways said.
