Dumpling lovers, rejoice. Din Tai Fung, a world-renowned Taiwanese restaurant, whose original Hong Kong location earned a Michelin star, has announced the opening date for its highly anticipated Arizona debut.
Din Tai Fung’s first ever Arizona restaurant will begin a reservation-only soft opening phase on March 12. Reservations will open to the public on Feb. 26 on Din Tai Fung’s website.
The restaurant’s official grand opening will take place on April 20 at Scottsdale Fashion Square. After that date, guests can opt for walk-ins, takeout and delivery.
The restaurant’s original location in Taiwan has received a Michelin star multiple times and is listed under the Bib Gourmand designation, which is awarded to restaurants that offer great quality food at affordable prices.
Menu highlights include wontons, dumplings, noodle soups and Din Tai Fung’s claim to fame, xiao long bao, which are broth-filled dumplings steamed in a bamboo basket.
