San Antonio Zoo celebrates Spring Break: Featuring Congo Falls and Pollinators exhibits!

SAN ANTONIO – Spring Break is getting an upgrade at the San Antonio Zoo, where visitors will have more time to explore new attractions and immersive animal habitats during an extended-hours schedule.

From March 6 through March 22, the zoo will offer extended hours, giving families additional time to visit.

One of the featured experiences is Congo Falls, a two-acre immersive habitat that marks the return of gorillas to the San Antonio Zoo after more than 35 years.

The zoo says the habitat is designed to let guests come face-to-face with gorillas, explore a towering landscape built for movement and discovery, and connect with a conservation-focused story.

Congo Falls is included with zoo admission and is free for zoo members.

Spring Break visitors can also check out Pollinators, a world-premiere attraction running from Feb. 28 through April 26.

The interactive exhibit features 12 larger-than-life, climbable sculptures in the zoo’s Go Wild realm and highlights the role pollinators such as bees, butterflies, bats, hummingbirds, and the chocolate midge play in ecosystems and food production.

‘Pollinators’ is included with zoo admission and is free for zoo members.

The San Antonio Zoo is home to more than 700 species from around the world. More information and tickets are available at www.sazoo.org.
