Defence Secretary John Healey will be taking questions on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg after Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in Israeli US strikes on Iran.
Keir Starmer said yesterday that British planes were “in the sky” as part of coordinated defence operations, but the UK has said it was not involved in Saturday’s action.
As of Sunday morning, the Israel Defense Forces says it has started a wave of fresh strikes against targets linked to the regime in Tehran, while Iran continues to retaliate.
Shadow foreign secretary Priti Patel will be appearing for the Conservative Party, after leader Kemi Badenoch said that she stands with allies US and Israel in their attacks against the “vile regime” in Iran.
Green Party Leader Zack Polanski will also be answering questions after his party secured their first ever by-election victory in Gorton and Denton this week.
