Igor Tudor witnessed just how difficult the challenge is to stop Tottenham from getting relegated after seeing Spurs lose 4-1 at home to north London rivals Arsenal in his first match in charge last weekend.

While Tottenham have a Champions League last-16 tie against Atletico Madrid to look forward to, the main goal is to avoid dropping to the Championship and Tudor admitted the job he inherited was harder than he expected.

It is three defeats in a row for Tottenham, who last tasted success in the Premier League at the end of December, and they still have a substantial absentee list with nine first-team players either injured or suspended.

Tottenham now face a tricky trip to Craven Cottage – a stadium where they have lost on their last two trips without scoring – to face a Fulham side eyeing a third-successive victory.

The Cottagers have also been strong at home, winning four of their last six assignments, and they have collected 23 points from a possible 39 at their west London base.

With limited options available to Tudor and the new manager still getting his methods across to his players, Fulham can take advantage of a Tottenham team in crisis.

Odds: 11-10 with Coral, Ladbrokes
