SAN ANTONIO (February 27, 2026) – The San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) invites the community to celebrate the vital role of women in history throughout the month of March. This Women’s History Month, SAPL will honor the contributions of women around the world through book lists, movie screenings, special programs, and more.

Legacy of Influence: Honoring the Women of San Antonio ISD
This exhibit highlights the lives of women who contributed to San Antonio’s rich history and have had schools named for them within the San Antonio Independent School District. This exhibit seeks to preserve their memory and restore their place in the city’s shared history.
