A14 in Suffolk partially shut after two lorries crash

The A14 remains partially shut in Suffolk following a crash involving two lorries.

The road was shut between junction 52 at Claydon and junction 55 for the A12 at the Copdock Interchange on Tuesday night.

Suffolk Police posted news of the collision, external and closure at about 20:05 GMT and National Highways said emergency services including the air ambulance and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service attended.

The westbound carriageway is expected to remain closed for part of Wednesday to clear a diesel spillage, allow for recovery and for police to finish their collision investigation, highways added.
