Cornfield Earns All-Big 12 Honorable Mention Honors – University of Arizona Athletics

IRVING, Tex. — Arizona women’s basketball senior guard Noelani Cornfield earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors, the conference announced Tuesday.

Cornfield has been the engine of Arizona’s offense throughout the 2025-26 season, averaging 14.4 points and 6.9 assists per game while starting all 28 contests. She leads the Wildcats with 192 total assists and ranks second in the Big 12  in assists per game. The Gowanda, N.Y. native is third all-time in assists in a single season in program history.

The senior has scored in double figures in 22 games this season and recorded six 20-point performances, highlighted by a career-high 25 points against Colorado on Feb. 17. She also added 24 points against Arizona State (Feb. 14) and 22-point outings against Eastern Kentucky (Dec. 10) and CSU Bakersfield (Nov. 29).

Cornfield has dished out 10 or more assists four times this season, including a season-high 12 against UC Irvine (Nov. 9). She recorded 11 assists versus Grambling (Nov. 16) and added 10-assist performances against BYU (Jan. 6) and Kansas (Jan. 20).

In addition to her scoring and playmaking, Cornfield is averaging 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game while shooting 81.9% from the free throw line.
