Kraken sign captain Eberle to two-year, $11 million contract extension

The Seattle Kraken have signed captain Jordan Eberle to a two-year, $11 million contract extension, according to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun.
Eberle, 35, has 22 goals and 42 points in 59 games with the Kraken this season.
The 5-foot-11 winger was in the final season of a two-year, $9.5 million contract that carries a cap hit of $4.75 million. He was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

Drafted 22nd overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 2008, Eberle has 330 goals and 770 points in 1,119 career games split between the Oilers, New York Islanders, and Kraken.
Eberle was named the second captain in Kraken history prior to the 2024-25 campaign.
The Regina, Sask., native has represented Canada six times at the World Hockey Championships, winning gold in 2015.
