Hurricanes acquire F Deslauriers from Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers have traded forward Nicolas Deslauriers to the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for futures, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger.

Deslauriers, 35, appeared in 24 games for the Flyers this season, recording one assist and 33 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-1 winger is on the final season of a four-year, $7 million contract that carries a cap hit of $1.75 million. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
Drafted 84th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in 2009, Deslauriers has 53 goals and 105 points in 700 career games split between the Buffalo Sabres, Montreal Canadiens, Anaheim Ducks, Minnesota Wild, and Flyers.
